Our Story
Statement of Faith
- We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.
- We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
- We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
- We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
- We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptized in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues, which is one of the evidences of baptism in the Holy Spirit.
- We believe that God equips each of us so to successfully achieve His purpose for our lives, which is to worship God, fulfill our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.
- We believe that God wants to heal and transform us to live healthy and prosperous lives so that we can help others more effectively.
- We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to God’s gift of salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ.
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.

Pastor Anand brings his talents and gifts to bear in every area of ministry. A repository of biblical knowledge, he is well-known for his insightful expository sermons that challenge as well as encourage. He is also a skilled artist with pen and paper as well as guitar.

Campus Pastors, Banjara Hills Campus
Rufus and Mayuri feel called to serve God by equipping his body, helping others to grow into maturity in Christ. They relentlessly encourage people, whatever their background, to remember who they are in Christ and never give up. They have two children, Amy and Sam.
Allen Ganta
Executive Worship Pastor
An artist of consummate skill, Pastor Allen is the Worship and Creative Pastor of HopeUC India. He blesses the church every week with refreshing, grace-filled music that inspires the congregation to worship. In addition, he leads many creative initiatives in India and around the world. He and his wife, Vandana, have two sons, Ryan and Asher.
David & Diana Prestly
Youth Pastors, Banjara Hills Campus
David and Diana have been actively serving the church for over a decade. Leading the Young Adults ministry across campuses, they are passionate in building communities that love Jesus. While both also lead HopeUC India Online Church, you will find Diana always excited about Sisters and any creative projects happening at church. They have a little daughter, Faith, who loves going to church and brings a smile to everyone’s face.
Yasha & Ruth Singha
Campus Pastors, East Campus
Yasha, with 16 years of corporate experience, brings unwavering passion to his pastoral role, serving as both a spiritual guide and a dynamic church leader.
Ruth, also equipped with 10 years in the corporate world, actively supports and ministers alongside Yasha in the church community, passionately nurturing her art.
Together, they homeschool their daughters, Liz and Zane, and are committed to strengthening families, while faithfully serving and ministering within the church.
Amey & Sujata Marathe
Elders
Amey and Sujata have been part of Hopeuc India since the last 6 years. They have been married for 14 years and are very passionate about discipling people. They currently serve on elders board and are also a part of the prayer ministry team.
Robin & Papia Cornelius
Elders
These dynamic elders have been a part of the church from its inception, always ready to help and support the pastors and congregation. Presently, they lead the Life Group ministry, the heart of the church, across all campuses. They have two daughters, Sheba and Rachel, and two grandchildren.
Anirudh Raju Kakumanu
Pastoral Assistant, Banjara Hills Campus
Coming from a teacher’s background, Anirudh lends a helping hand in everything from prayer to Foundations classes to house visits. His desire is to help this generation find the best version of themselves in Christ Jesus.

Comfort and Varsha Peram are passionate about the local church and impacting the lives of people. Teaching and training the saints with the pure Word of God and living exemplary lives has been the core essence of their ministry. They have two beautiful daughters, Shauna and Lisa.

Youth Pastors, Secunderabad Campus
David and Keerthana Enoch work in the IT industry by profession and have been serving at church for 10 years. As youth pastors, their vision is to see that every young person knows Jesus Christ and lives a vibrant life. They love watching movies and hanging out with young people.
